Role Title: Artist Assistant
Time Commitment: 4 - 8 hours on 16th September only

Like music, arts and being outside no matter the weather? (OK well maybe not the latter.. But do you like music & art enough to be outside no matter the weather?)
BlueFire Street Fest, a world cultures arts festival, are looking for volunteers to help run the festival in Smithfield on the 16th of September!
Are you a people person? Can you deliver information to our artists? Are you an efficient problem solver and autonomous worker? Roles as artists assistants are currently available.
Roles
-Artist Liaison/Support:
Bringing artists to their performance space, helping set up their workshop space/stage area, organising drinks for them, general help, etc.
- Arts helper (facilitators assistant):
Helping facilitators fill their workshop by interacting with members of the public, keeping count of numbers at workshops, setting up workshop/performance space, general help, etc.
Four of the people in this role will also be co-facilitating our arts & crafts area in the kids zone, so if you’re creative and like working with kids, please do let us know in your online application.
Skills required:
- People skills
- Good at following direction
- Ability to use your own initiative
- Fast learner
- Efficient problem solving
- Festival experience a plus, but not required.
