Role Title: Back of House Crew
Time Commitment: 4 - 8 hours on 16th September only

Like music, arts and being outside no matter the weather? (OK well maybe not the latter.. But do you like music & art enough to be outside no matter the weather?)
BlueFire Street Fest, a world cultures arts festival, are looking for volunteers to help run the festival in Smithfield on the 16th of September!
Are you a good handy-man? Fit and able to do some heavy-lifting? Or maybe your tech-savvy? Applications to join our back of house festival crew are now open!
Role description:
Get behind the scenes of BlueFire Street Fest and help make the magic happen! Back of house crew will be supporting technical staff such as sound engineers (stage hand), bringing equipment between stages, and general assistance to help ensure BlueFire Street Fest runs smoothly on the day. Back of house crew are also involved in set-up & takedown (with shifts not exceeding 6 hours unless specified by the volunteer).
Skills required:
- Knowledge of some aspects of back of house
- Good at following direction
- Ability to use your own initiative
- Fast learner
- Efficient problem solving
- Ability to do some heavy lifting (if you are unable to do heavy lifting, please just let us know in your online application form, and we’ll ensure to put you in a back of house role that does not require this).
- Festival experience a plus, but not required.
